Clara Wetmore is a New Mexico licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine practicing at Artemisia Clinic in Taos, NM. She holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM, and is an NCCAOM-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.

Clara practices Classical Chinese Medicine with a special focus on women's health and trauma. This style of Acupuncture is deeply rooted in Taoism, and is especially useful in addressing infertility, IVF preparation, pregnancy, postpartum support, menstrual disorders, migraines, menopause, hormonal imbalances, PTSD, pain, anxiety, PPD, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, skin problems, digestive issues, side effects from cancer treatment, and much more. For the past several years she has studied Classical Chinese Medicine with Sean Tuten, Ann Cecil-Sterman, Diane Gioioso, and Jeffrey Yuen, and has trained with Acupuncturists Without Borders in the field of disaster relief and healing community trauma. She is especially passionate about Chinese herbal medicine, and has 15 years of experience growing, wildcrafting, processing, and using both western and Chinese herbs.

Clara has a diverse background as a Biodynamic farmer, stone mason, printmaker, and model, and has worked to empower women in indigenous communities in the Andes. She moved to Taos in 2008 after living in New England and Peru. After spending four years in graduate school in Santa Fe, she moved back to Taos in 2017 to raise her family and to serve her beloved community as a Classically trained Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
